We build software and operate our own platforms

That changes how we work: we know the real cost of keeping a system in production, because we keep our own there.

Origin and track record

Aqui Group began by building software for its own businesses. When those platforms reached stable operation and started to grow, other companies asked for the same. Today both run in parallel: continued development of our own platforms, and the construction of our clients', to the same standard.

We operate from Uruguay for clients across the region. The team is small and specialised: development is not outsourced, and no client is assigned a team they never meet.

Working principles

  • We raise objections early

    When an idea has a problem, it is raised before invoicing. An uncomfortable conversation early beats a project that solves nothing.

  • Frequent deliveries

    Every two weeks there is a working deliverable. No long stretches without visibility.

  • Code any team can maintain

    With automated tests, review and documentation. Any other team can pick the work up without rewriting it.

  • Continuity after launch

    Going live starts the product; it does not close the project.
